Writers write, authors finish. Half-completed projects don’t matter until they’re done.

Be willing to invest money in your work. Pay for quality in the things you can’t do yourself.

Go to as many conventions as possible. Let people know you exist beyond their screens.

Maintain your integrity at all times.

Never beg for gigs or whine about your circumstances.

Celebrate other writers’ success.

Be kind.
