Dean Wells is author of the ongoing “Clockwork Mechanicals” and “Darkcaster’s Tome” story cycles.  His works of speculative fiction have appeared in Queer Sci Fi, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Ideomancer, 10Flash Quarterly, Demensions, ShadowKeep, The Nocturnal Lyric, Eldritch Tales, and the anthologies Ceaseless Steam, The Best of BCS, and Ink.  He’s also written for the performing arts in various capacities.

Dean is an educator, conference speaker, and an active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.  He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife Kelly and a cat, though he’s open to entertaining the occasional ferret or weasel.
